Finding an English-speaking counsellor and Psychotherapist can be difficult when living in another country. Online counselling is a great way of accessing therapeutic online therapeutic counselling and psychotherapy.
I have just moved to Frankfurt from Australia with my partner and our little Schnauzer. My partner has a transfer with a large bank. In Australia I worked with a diverse group of clients online and I hope to do the same from Frankfurt, Germany. My experience in life was firstly as a Chartered Accountant, which was a job rather than a life calling. I was then impacted by addictions and depression and anxiety and after many different therapies and counselling and when I felt able, I started a post-graduate degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy. There are many different therapies practiced by a multitude of therapists. I find Acceptance & Commitment Therapy the most durable, relevant and open therapy. It has proved efficacy with anxiety, depression, work/life issues, relationship issues, addictions, stress and many more. I love working with clients, hearing their story and working together so we can find a path, so they can live the best life possible. Online Counselling is excellent for people with a busy lifestyle, those who live in isolated areas, those who may find there are social norms that make obtaining professional therapeutic help difficult, those people with mobility issues, young people who seem to embrace the technology, carers or stay at home parents. Online counselling is easy to easy to commence. Just send us an email and we will either phone or email back to arrange a suitable time for the first session. Then just log onto SKYPE and will start the journey together. Usually the first session is more an exploratory session, so we can find out more about you and what you would like to get from our work together. We see counselling and Psychotherapy as a journey together where we work in partnership to find out what is troubling you and what is the best path to take so you can stop struggling with difficult thoughts and feelings and start living the best life possible. |
